Refund Policy

We keep this short. Studio Walker charges in advance for each billing period, and our refund policy reflects that.
Short version:you can cancel any subscription or stop auto top-up at any time. We don't refund charges that have already been made — but you keep access through the end of the period you paid for.
Subscription plans
Subscription fees (monthly or annual) are non-refundable. When you cancel, the cancel stops your next auto-renewal; you keep using the Service until the end of the period you've paid for.
Annual plans are charged in full upfront and are not pro-ratedon cancellation. Consider monthly billing if you'd prefer month-to-month flexibility.
Plan downgrades during a paid period take effect at the next renewal. No partial refund is issued for the price difference.
SMS credits & top-ups
All SMS credit purchases are final and non-refundable. This applies to both manual top-ups and auto top-ups, regardless of whether the credits have been used.
Unused paid credits never expire while your account is active. They are tied to your Studio Walker account and cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or applied to your subscription bill.
If your account is terminated by us for cause (breach of our terms, fraud, etc.), unused credits are forfeited.
Auto top-up charges
When you enable auto top-up, you authorise us to charge your saved payment method automatically when your SMS balance falls below the configured threshold. Each auto-charge is treated identically to a manual top-up — non-refundable, and not eligible for cancellation after the charge has settled. Disable auto top-up from Settings any time to stop future charges; this won't affect a charge that has already been processed.
Mistakes & exceptional cases
If you believe a charge was made in error (e.g. duplicate charge from a payment system issue), email mystudiowalker@gmail.com within 14 days of the charge with the relevant details. We'll investigate and, where genuinely warranted, may issue a refund or credit at our discretion. This is a goodwill measure, not a promise — see our Terms of Service for the controlling agreement.
Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first may result in your account being suspended while the chargeback is investigated. Where possible, please email us first — most issues can be resolved more quickly that way than through the chargeback process.
Statutory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law in your country of residence. If your local consumer-protection law grants you a right of refund that we are not permitted to exclude, we'll honour that right.
How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. You can disable SMS auto top-up at any time from Messages → SMS credits. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; the next renewal will not be charged.
